​We have two farmhouses dating from the 19th century: Olavstøga at Ellingbø and Midtgardstøga at Midtre Tune. Both are two-storey timber-framed houses from the 1840s. You’ll find a lovely, old-fashioned atmosphere in these old, dignified houses: everything is done in the old style! Here you’ll find warm colours, a wood-burning stove, hand-forged nails in the walls, wooden floors, crocheted curtains and old-fashioned furnishings. But there’s also everything you need for a hassle-free stay: a dishwasher, hob, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine.

Olavstøga has a garden and a large veranda with a dining area, whilst Midtgardstøga has a charming garden with a dining area. Both cottages offer views of Lake Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains – here you can find peace and quiet!

Our houses are situated right by the Kingsroad over Filefjell. We are one of the businesses offering accommodation along this popular and spectacular hiking trail.
Vang in Valdres is a gem for anyone who loves nature and outdoor activities. In winter, you can choose from kilometres of ski trails, ski resorts and summit hikes. In summer, there are hiking trails, mountain walks, cycle paths and trails. All year round, there are a range of activity providers in the area. Valdres also offers a varied and rich cultural and festival programme.Here you’ll find everything from child-friendly local walks to challenging summit hikes.

Both houses are within walking distance of a grocery store, public sauna, swimming spot, play ground and library. It is 2.5 km to a café and petrol station, 20 minutes to Tyinkrysset with its restaurants and downhill ski slopes, and less than an hour to both Beitostølen and Fagernes.
