Drive to Helin and take off to Smådalen, and at the top of the mountain it is clear where you should park. 
Follow the hiking trail on a nice path. When you get up to the reindeer fence, the rest of the trips is on rocky ground. At the top you get a beautiful view over Smådalen, Helin, Syndin, Vang and towards the mountain area Jotuneheimen. 

With a bit hiking experience you need 1.5 to 2 hours one way, and it is a nice trip also for kids. The trip starts at about 1200 masl and the top of the mountain is 1724 masl.
